The Chrysler Windsor was the company's new model range in 1951. After disappointing years, Chrysler restored with designer Virgil Exner's new "Forward Look" with the largest fins ever seen on American cars. Chrysler sold 118,733 cars in 1957 and regained 10th position.

Chrysler used the 'Newport and Nassau' type names for hardtops. These had contrasting flight sweep color panels on the rear fins, many with twin radio antennas. Initially built with two headlights, later cars were equipped with four.

The Chrysler Windsor DeLuxe was available in the following body styles:

2 door convertible
2 door Nassau Hardtop
4 door Newport Hardtop
4 door sedan

A total of 18,474 Windsor's were produced. Of which only 1,395 left the factory as convertibles. This makes this Convertible the rarest.

This very luxurious and beautiful convertible has an immaculate interior in a color combination of red and black. This can be found on the seat covers, the door panels and the beautiful dashboard.
Much attention has also been given to the styling of the control knobs with the beautiful chrome work.

The body has knocking fits of the sills, fenders, doors, hood, trunk lid. The vinyl convertible top also fits nicely.
