In 1967 Colin Chapman built the Lotus Seven, a small light sports car that, thanks to its low weight, only needed a small engine to make life difficult for larger and heavier sports cars. The Lotus Seven was fully built or offered as a kit.
When Lotus decided to stop producing the Seven in 1973, the rights were bought by Caterham.
Tiger Racing was founded in 1989 and built other sports and racing cars in addition to the 'Seven' models.
The Tiger Sports R6 offered by us was newly built in 2008. This has been done with great care, many special carbon parts have been mounted. Costs and effort have been spared.
This LHD Tiger is equipped with Carbon cycle wings.
The tuned 4-cylinder Audi turbo engine has 210 hp. This engine was built at 'Van Kronenburg'. In addition, a Jamex sports air filter and an oil cooler are mounted. The differential lock comes from Ford. The Protech chassis is adjustable.
The Quaiffe 5-speed manual transmission works great.
The dashboard, completely made of carbon, is equipped with a digital board computer in addition to the analog VDO counter instruments.
The Carbon bucket seats are equipped with 4-point seat belts.
The Tiger is also equipped with a fire extinguisher.
The black '12-spoke Dynamics' 15" LM rims provide a nice contrast to the yellow body colour. In addition, the car has removable doors and a black convertible top.
The paintwork and bodywork are in good condition. The bonnet fittings are very nice.
If you are a Tiger enthusiast looking for a beautiful, rare and great driving R6 then this is your chance.
