De Volvo Duett is de eerste stationwagen door Volvo ontworpen. De auto was meteen een enorm succes, mede vanwege de grote binnenruimte. In die tijd kende men het woord MPV nog niet in de auto-industrie, maar deze term zou zeker goed te gebruiken zijn bij deze auto.

Deze specifieke Volvo is nieuw geleverd in 1958 in Zweden en sinds 1979 in Nederland op Nederlands kenteken geregistreerd. Hier is de auto altijd liefdevol onderhouden door zijn eigenaren. Een kostbare klassieke imperiaal is op het dak gemonteerd voor extra bagage ruimte en de juiste looks.

Zo verkeert het rood met witte lakwerk in een mooie staat, evenals het ruime interieur en de comfortabele voorstoelen van de Volvo.

Deze Duett is rijkelijk gedocumenteerd met diverse rekeningen, oude kenteken, het originele instructieboekje en handleiding etc.
