Triumph Stag MkII Automatic 1974

British Leyland produced 25,939 Stags from 1970 to 1978.

This 1974 Triumph Stag has the beautiful 2.997cc V8 engine and automatic gearbox. The elegant body is finished in a beautiful 'Carmine' red paint with gold-coloured striping. The Stag has a T-bar and a black cloth convertible top. The interior has black vinyl upholstery and wooden details. The steering wheel is covered with leather. The chrome parts are in a fair condition.

The Triumph Stag, offered by us, was delivered new in the Netherlands on April 22, 1974.

This Stag was restored in the course of the 1980s. The work consisted of a new coat of paint on the body as well as an extensive overhaul of the engine. This overhaul included new crankshaft, bearings and cylinder heads. In addition, the bumpers were re-chromed and a new window was placed in the convertible top.

The paint and body of this older restoration are in fair condition. The fits of the sills, fenders, doors, hood, trunk lid and grille are neat. The two-tone 14" LM rims are fitted with Michelin tires.

Of course, this original Dutch Stag has some signs of wear, see photos.
