HISTORY/DOCUMENTATION
Probably the most iconic rally car ever made! This traditionally equipped Impreza WRX was newly delivered to the Netherlands on 8 March 2002 and has had only one private owner. The low mileage of 74,627 is quite unique. The original booklets are still present with the car, such as the instruction booklets, manual and service and warranty booklet. Service invoices and MOT forms are also present, showing that the car has been serviced almost every year. The last service was performed at a mileage of 74,055, during which major maintenance was carried out. This WRX is therefore fully roadworthy for the next owner, and an interesting investment for the future.

EXTERIOR
The low mileage is reflected in the exterior: excellent overall condition of the exterior. The beautiful paintwork is in very clean condition, as are the alloy wheels. Connoisseurs will immediately recognise the legendary colour combination of “World Rally Blue” metallic and the bronze-coloured alloy wheels. These 17-inch rims are, of course, original. Unmistakably a robust rally car, this generation of which was nicknamed the “Bug-eye” thanks to its distinctive round headlights. Also distinctive are the large mislamps at the front, the large air intake in the bonnet and the large rear spoiler.

INTERIOR
The interior is also still fresh and in top condition. A rock-solid interior without superfluous luxury, but equipped with electric windows front and rear, air conditioning, ABS, power steering and the original radio/cassette player. Characteristic are the leather MOMO steering wheel and the seats, which give a lot of support and are fantastic. The rear seats, floor mats and boot are also in impeccable condition.

TECHNICAL
Under the bonnet resides perhaps the most important thing: the iconic 1,994cc turbocharged 4-cylinder boxer engine. Good for 218 hp, driving all 4 wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox. This symmetrical 4-wheel drive was definitely a technical innovation at the time, delivering a unique driving experience with an awful lot of grip. We can also call the sound unique. Technically, the car has always been very well-maintained, so no remarks were noted at the MOT. At a recent odometer reading of 74,055, very extensive maintenance was carried out, including replacement of the timing belt and accessories, brake discs and pads all round, tyres and air conditioning. The Subaru therefore drives excellently.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The Subaru Impreza WRX is an iconic model known for its performance in rallying and the use of unique technical concepts such as symmetrical all-wheel drive and the boxer engine with its unique sound. The Impreza WRX (World Rally eXperimental) have been made in 5 generations from 1992 to 2021. The rarest is the WRX 22B a two-door version with which Collin McRae scored numerous victories in the rally world. Besides being a pursang rally car, the Impreza WRX is also good for daily use. The one we offered is from the second generation, built from 2000 to 2002.
