The MGB entered the market as a two-door sports car produced from 1962 to 1980 by the British Motor Corporation (BMC), later the Austin-Morris division of British Leyland, as a four-cylinder soft-top sports car. Later variants such as the MGB GT three-door 2+2 coupé (1965-1980), the six-cylinder sports car and coupé MGC (1967-1969), and the eight-cylinder 2+2 coupé, the MGB GT V8 (1973-76) came on the market. .

Replacing the MGA in 1962, production of the MGB and its variants continued until 1980. Sales of the MGB, MGC and MGB GT V8s combined totaled 523,836 units.
Development of the MGB began as early as 1958 with the prototype known by the code name Abingdon; MG EX205. In structure, the car in 1962 was a progressive, modern design.

The color combination of this MG B is very tasteful, the body is painted in Racing green. A very nice contrast with the black interior. The seats are finished with white piping.

This B Roadster MkI was originally delivered new in California. And registered on Dutch license plate since 1995. Many mileage readings have been kept of the history on, among other things, the inspection reports. The MG has a folder with various documents. This includes the original American title and a license plate, which are a nice addition to the history.

This MG is in excellent condition and was restored in California in 1994. The paintwork is still in very good condition. The fittings of the sills, fenders, doors, hood and trunk lid are neat.
