The MGB entered the market as a two-door sports car produced from 1962 to 1980 by the British Motor Corporation (BMC), later the Austin-Morris division of British Leyland, as a four-cylinder soft-top sports car. Later variants such as the MGB GT three-door 2+2 coupé (1965-1980), the six-cylinder sports car and coupé MGC (1967-1969), and the eight-cylinder 2+2 coupé, the MGB GT V8 (1973-76) came on the market. . Replacing the MGA in 1962, production of the MGB and its variants continued until 1980. Sales of the MGB, MGC and MGB GT V8 combined totaled 523,836 units. Development of the MGB began as early as 1958 with the prototype known by the code name Abingdon; MG EX205. In structure, the car in 1962 was a progressive, modern design.

This MGB imported from the US is in beautiful condition. The original Tartan Red color scheme with the black interior is still in good condition. The chrome work is neatly original. The exterior and bottom of the car is hard and completely rust free. The car has been restored to originality. It is produced in England and intended for North American export. It was imported to the Netherlands in 2008 and has had 4 owners here.

This beautiful MGB is an early pull-handle model with the special door handles and all other special details such as the early disc wheels with chrome hubcaps and the beautiful original steering wheel with the large MG logo. The well-known 'chrome slatted grille' can be found on the front. Also included is the much sought after Overdrive. In addition, the following points are also present:

- Original radio
- Steel dashboard
- Packed spare tire with jack and cross wrench
- Stainless steel exhaust
- Oil cooler
- 4 new tires

As for the original radio, the original instruction booklet is also present here. This is a Continental Custom Model 708. There is also an oil cooler under the hood. This was optional for the MK1 and later became obsolete.

In terms of documentation, a number of papers are present. To start with, there is a valuation report that is less than a year old. The MGB is very well rated in this. The appraised value in this report is € 27,500. In addition to the valuation report, there is also a BMIHT (British Motor Industry Heritage Trust) certificate. This shows that the car has matching numbers. Also present is a recent invoice where more than € 400 has been spent.

The perfect opportunity for a beautiful MGB!
