The MGB entered the market as a two-door sports car produced from 1962 to 1980 by the British Motor Corporation (BMC), later the Austin-Morris division of British Leyland, as a four-cylinder sports car with soft top. Later variants such as the MGB GT three-door 2+2 coupe (1965-1980), the six-cylinder sports car and coupe MGC (1967-1969), and the eight-cylinder 2+2 coupe, the MGB GT V8 (1973- 76) were launched. Replacing the MGA in 1962, production of the MGB and its variants continued until 1980. Sales of the MGB, MGC and MGB GT V8 combined amounted to 523,836 cars. Development of the MGB began as early as 1958 with the prototype known by the code name Abingdon; MG EX205. In structure, the car was a progressive, modern design in 1962.
This beautiful MG B 1.8 Roadster is in pristine condition. With a highly sought-after and iconic livery of British Racing Green along with the light brown interior, this completes the MG. This is a very neat in the past 'Body Off' restored MG B that has always been neatly maintained and cared for. The paintwork is still in nice condition. This can also be said about the beige interior and the classic chrome wire wheels. The MG is in possession of the following items:
- A boot rack
- Chrome wire wheels
- Wooden steering wheel
- Windshield
- Spare wheel
- Original tool kit
Through his years, there has been some € 15,000 spent on maintenance in recent years. Besides the numerous invoices, there are several appraisal reports present in which the MG B has always been inspected very neatly.
