This 1959-produced Mercedes-Benz 190SL was imported to Germany from California in 1990. Here, the car was extensively restored until 1996. The process of this restoration included renewing the carburettors, 'ATE brake unit', master cylinder, bearings, steering wheel, lighting and wiring harness. This car is finished in a beautiful black paint along with a tan beige leather interior, which gives the car a beautiful and stylish look. The original black soft top is made of good quality Sonnenland fabric. The interior features a rare and sought-after Becker radio.

General information about the Mercedes-Benz 190SL
The Mercedes-Benz W121 Bll, or 190SL was introduced in 1954 at the International Motor Sports Show in New York as a prototype. At that time, the famous and expensive 300SL was only available as a coupe. Partly its affordability generated a lot of interest and it became a successful model. The design by Karl Wilfert and Walter Häcker was heavily inspired by the 300SL. The car was only built as a convertible with a 1.9-litre 4-cylinder engine and an overhead camshaft. The model takes its name from the engine capacity and the words 'Sport Leicht'.
