The Maserati Sebring, officially the Maserati 3500 GTI S, was produced from 1962 to 1969. In these years 2 different series were released. Series 1 was produced from 1962 to 1964, and Series 2 from 1965 to 1969. The title "Sebring" is used in tribute to Maserati's victory of the "12 Hours of Sebring" in 1957.
In 1965 the Series 2 was officially titled “Sebring”. Unlike the Series 1, the Series 2 received a number of changes. These were things like revised front wing vents and a new nose with redesigned headlights. Because of the new rear lights that were used here, the Sebring received many comparisons with the Maserati Quattroporte.

In the early 1960s, the 3500 GT faced a lot of competition, mainly the Aston Martin DB4. Because of this, in 1962 the short chassis model was introduced, the 3500 GTi S (where the S stands for “Sebring”). It was exhibited at the Geneva Motor Show. The GTi S was quite similar to the GT. Unlike the shorter chassis.

This example was delivered new in the United States and was registered in the Netherlands via Germany. Both the exterior and the interior look very nice. The blue paint, together with the red leather interior, gives the Italian classic a beautiful look. The chrome "Ruote Borrani" spoke rims have a sublime appearance and are in a beautiful condition. Another example can be found in the form of a spare wheel that is located in the trunk together with the original tool kit. The 3500 GTi is rich in invoices and is in possession of a Heritage Certificate. Several operating instructions and manuals are available. The 6-cylinder engine functions very nicely. As with many Sebrings, the injection system has been replaced by 3 double "Weber" carburettors that are a lot more reliable and give more power.

In summary, this Italian classic is ready for a new chapter in its adventure!
