Citroen 2CV Charleston 1987
- Neat interior
- Nice quality exterior
- Luxurious Charleston version
The Citroen 2CV. Mostly known as the “Duck” or “Ugly Duckling”. This iconic French model was created in 1935 with French farmers as the target audience. It had to be affordable and reliable for this. The vehicle also had to be able to transport goods, potatoes, eggs and wine comfortably and safely on the unpaved roads. The original idea was to present the "Deux Chevaux" in the Paris motor show in 1939, but because of the war this was canceled and this was later taken place in 1948. Production ran from 1949 to 1990. For saving reasons, the prototype only one headlight mounted. During the test drive, this caused confusion among oncoming traffic who thought they were dealing with a moped. This was then changed to two headlights.
We would like to present you a Citroën 2CV6 in the luxury Charleston version. Made in a chic color combination of Rouge Delage with Schwarz. The limited edition differs from the regular production version by the chrome round headlights and the gray Pieds interior trim with an elegant diamond pattern.
This copy is in a beautiful condition. The paint is still of good quality and gives the 2CV6 a luxurious look. The interior is still very neat and is really a look back in time.
The body has good fits of the hood, trunk lid, doors, sills and the fenders. The roof is also in good condition. The original manual is available. The spare tire can still be found in the back of the trunk.
