- Fully restored bodywork
- Perfect chrome
- Rare BMW accessories
- Open folding roof

When the egg-shaped Isetta was unveiled to the motor press in Turin in November 1953, it was unlike anything that had preceded it and is now widely regarded as the best microcar of all time. A typical "bubble-car" now recognized around the world and loved by classic car collectors and microcar enthusiasts.
Very compact, with a length of only 230cm and a width of about 130cm. The egg-shaped "bubble-car" with panoramic windows and bulbous sliding windows was considered by BMW as a filler between their range of motorcycles and the luxury 501 models. When opening the single door, the instrument panel and steering column swing out with it which gives easy access to the single seat bench. The bench seat offers reasonable comfort for two occupants and a small child. For luggage, there is room behind the seat with space underneath for a spare tire. Heating and, among other things, the fabric sunroof could be ordered as options. In February 1956, the 300cc engine was introduced.

The BMW Isetta offered has been fully restored and has many wonderful "full option" BMW accessories as you rarely see them. The two tone color scheme of "Japanrot" and white gives the car a fresh look . The interior is complete, the white steering wheel features a very special chrome BMW horn ring, a white dashboard, chrome luggage rack and beautiful gray checkered cloth upholstery with leather accents. The 2-seater has the optional open folding roof and also a very special adjustable red plexi sunroof. All this gives the BMW Isetta a nice summer look. It is also, the white rims with new tires, the beautiful iconic chrome hubcaps, the chrome headlight trim, the exclusive Bumm exterior mirrors, chrome bumpers and the BMW fuel filler cap that complete the look.
The air-cooled, rear-mounted, 1 cylinder engine (295cc) has a Bing carburetor and has been completely overhauled along with the drivetrain. Furthermore, the Isetta is equipped with a new exhaust, 4-speed manual transmission and single-plate clutch. A nice special feature is the mounted trailer clutch.

This BMW Isetta was imported from Germany and registered on Dutch plates in 2015 and has always remained clean since then. The underside of the car is also pleasing to the eye and the whole thing is in sublime condition.
Manual present, along with a valuation report.
