BMW 3.2 liter V8 (502 Barockengel)

From 1955 to 1962, only 2,537 were produced in this version.
Originally, this BMW left the factory in November 1960. The first registration was in Germany, after which the car came to the Netherlands in 1965. The current owner has had the BMW in family possession since 1987.

In the 1970s, the interior was reupholstered with black skai upholstery.
This beautiful metallic paint was professionally renewed 2005 and is a very nice combination with the black interior which is finished with a beautiful wooden dashboard. The switches and gear knob are in 'Elfenbein'. The beige carpet was recently renewed and beautifully finished with piping.

The very extensive and well documented history consists of a binder with the birth certificate, bills (worth € 14,500) and a recent valuation report.

In 2007, the engine was thoroughly overhauled and equipped with new bearings, piston rings and seals. Also the clutch plate has been provided with new friction material. The brake system with brake booster and optional Dunlop disc brakes on the front wheels was recently overhauled.


Another fun bit of BMW trivia: did you know that the clock in the interior can be wound manually?

The body has great fits of the sills, fenders, doors, hood and trunk lid.
