Austin discovered the Healey at the Donald Healey motor corporation booth prior to the 1952 Earls Court Motor Show.
Leonard Lord, then Austin director, bought Healey's production rights before the stock market opened.
The Healey was built by Donald Healey from Austin parts, which was ideal for Austin. Austin saw in the Healey the answer to the Triumph TR sports car from the Standard-Triumph concern.
The 100/4 was the first Austin Healey.
The Healey 3000 was the successor to the Healey's 100/4 and 100/6 and was built between 1959 and 1968. The Austin Healey 3000 is also called "Big Healey" because of its powerful six-cylinder engine. The 3000 was the first Healey with front disc brakes and power brakes.

The 3000 MK II offered by us has a very extensive well-documented history, consisting of two files, including an original brochure, the restoration report and workshop notes (worth more than € 53,500).

The color combination is also very tasteful, the body is painted in Red over White. A very nice combination with the black leather interior that is finished with a matching red piping. Also very beautiful is the black convertible top with loose side windows.

This beautiful Austin Healey 3000 MK II BT7 was sold new in Canada. The car got a Dutch registration in 1998. After arrival in the Netherlands, the car was restored. A large number of invoices and a photo report of the restoration are present. Neither expense nor effort has been spared.

After this top restoration, it goes without saying that the paint and bodywork are in great condition. The fits of the sills, fenders, doors, hood, trunk lid and grille are perfect.
Since the restoration, the maintenance has been carefully done and meticulously maintained. This Austin Healey drives perfectly!
The Healey shows as a picture and the engine compartment is beautifully detailed. The car is equipped with wire wheels, tripmaster, Vredestein Sprint Classic tires, chrome trunk/luggage rack.
