Beautiful Alfa Romeo Bertone 'letter box'
In 1963 the Giulia 1600 Sprint GT was introduced. A rear-wheel drive coupé with a powerful 1,570 cc petrol engine with double carburettors, 5-speed gearbox, front and rear with disc brakes and a sporty chassis. The timelessly beautiful body was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. At the time, he was still employed by design house Bertone. In the construction period from 1963 – 1966, a total of 22,671 were made.

The Alfa Romeo offered by us has been thoroughly overhauled on a technical level. Recently an engine overhaul took place. The brake booster has also been replaced. The classic 15” TZ-look wheels have matching Michelin classic tires from 2019. The paintwork is in perfect condition. The body has great fits of the doors, sills and fenders. The beautiful chrome parts are a feast for the eyes. The engine compartment is original and not repainted and has the original spot welds. The original sound-insulating material is also still present on the inside of the hood and the trunk lid.

Another special detail is the classic Italian Aesculapian sticker on the windscreen. This testifies to a doctor as owner. Given the overall condition of the GT, supplemented by the complete Italian inspection booklet, it has been carefully looked after.
